A foundation to help aspiring comedy writers has been set up in memory of Father Ted star Dermot Morgan.
The charity was launched on the 10th anniversary of the comedian's death and was announced at the annual TedFest celebrations in Galway in Ireland - from the milk float used in the infamous Speed 3 episode.
The charity will help promote not just comedy writing but also screenplay, sitcoms or novels.
Morgan died at his Richmond home on February 28, 1998, having just filmed the last episode of Father Ted and only three days short of his 46th birthday.
