A Kingston photographer who breached foot and mouth restrictions has been ordered to pay £7,000.
Philip Hollis, 44, breached a foot and mouth cordon on August 4 last year at Woolford Farm near Guildford.
Hollis was charged under the Animal Health Act and found guilty after a trial before Guildford magistrates which ended on Thursday.
He was ordered to pay a £2,000 fine, and £5,000 in prosecution costs.
Some restrictions introduced after the foot-and-mouth outbreak will remain in place until September, according to Surrey County Council.
The first outbreak of the disease in August was traced to a laboratory at Pirbright.
The second outbreak in the county happened a month later in Runnymede, about 11 miles away.
