Mayday Hosptial
A man has been charged following a stabbing outside Mayday Hospital.
Desmand Aaron, from Thornton Heath has been charged with GBH in connection with an attack on a woman on Thursday night.
Aaron appeared before Croydon Magistrate's Court yesterday morning.
The victim - who is believed to be in her 50s - is understood to have been stabbed multiple times and struck with a hammer outside the Thornton Heath hosptial.
She is in a stable condition at Mayday Hospital, London Road following an operation.
