A posh burger eatery with a branch in Wimbledon has topped a poll about ethical restaurants chains.
Although no restaurants got a perfect score, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, which has an outlet in the Broadway, was awarded the highest grade of 8.5 out of 20 because it sells some organic, locally-sourced and free-range products.
It has another reason to boast: it recently added wild boar and buffalo burgers to its range.
Loch Fyne and Piccolino came joint top with the burger restaurant in the poll.
Strada, Café Rouge, Bella Italia and TGI Friday's languished at the bottom of the survey by Ethical Consumer magazine.
