Mark Hudson insists he wants to stay at Crystal Palace and sort out a new deal with the club.
The Eagles captain was recalled to the squad for last night's match against West Brom after being left out against Colchester when talks between him and the club over a new contract stalled.
However, they are back on now and Hudson admits to having no gripes about Neil Warnock's decision to leave him out.
He said: "Obviously it's the managers decision and I have to deal with that. I'm glad to be back and that's in the past now, we're moving forward.
"I've said all along that I want to stay. That's not why we're stumbling. I want to get something sorted out and I want to stay."
A 1-1 draw against West Brom put Palace within two points of the play-offs, and Hudson is looking forward to what promises to be an exciting run-in.
"It's all to play for. We're keeping our feet firmly on the ground but there are eight games to go and we'll give it our best shot and we'll see."
