Ben Watson has told his fellow Crystal Palace players to keep their feet on the ground after they thrashed Burnley on Sunday to reach the play-offs.
The Eagles are widely tipped to make a return to the top flight through play-offs having only lost once in 12 games, but Watson reminded his team mates and the Palace fans that nothing is guaranteed, but that they should take the opportunity while it was there.
"We've not achieved anything yet, everyone knows that," he said.
"It's down to us now, so let's go and achieve something, let's get in the Premier League. It's where everyone wants to play.
"We weren't expecting to be here but now we're in there you've got to give it your best shot. The pressure might come on us, we might be expected to win it now with the manager's record in the play-offs and hopefully this will be another one for him."
Watson stepped up to slot home a pressure penalty after just seven minutes to open the scoring against Burnley, and despite the situation he insists he didn't feel the pressure.
"I was quite calm to be fair, it was early doors as well. If it was the other way round in the last minute and it was 0-0 it would be different.
"Obviously with their man getting sent off it helped us a bit. It wouldn't have been 5-0 if they had had 11 men at the end of the day.
"It was our day today, the luck was with us and hopefully it's with us these next couple of games."
Palace now face Bristol City in the play-offs, a side who they beat at Selhurst Park and drew with at Ashton Gate, but Watson has warned they will be no easy ride.
"We go into every game thinking we can win it but obviously Bristol City are a good team. If they weren't a good team they wouldn't be in the play-offs and they've been up there all season."
