A drug house has been closed following police raids in Sunbury.
A police sergeant and eight constables stormed two homes in Peregrine Road last Tuesday, arresting 10 people and seizing a substantial amount of what is believed to be Class A drugs.
North Surrey Magistrates' Court has now granted a three-month closure order shutting up one of the two properties.
The 10 arrested on suspicion of offences including supply and possession of Class A drugs have all been released on police bail until July.
The closure order is the first granted in Spelthorne.
Inspector Sarah Greenhalgh said: "This was a terrific result and a great example of the proactive work regularly carried out by the Staines tactical neighbourhood team.
"We need the support of the whole community to take this kind of strong action and I would like to thank the residents who gave us the information which was vital to setting up the warrants."
