Emergency services were called to reports of a suspect package at Croydon's Valley Park yesterday.
Police, firefighters and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to Volta Way at around 5.30pm after a package was discovered at a shop at the retail park.
A spokeswoman for the LAS said they sent a Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene - but paramedics did not have to treat any casualties.
The area was declared safe at around 6.20pm.
