Goalkeeper Julian Speroni was named Crystal Palace's player of the year on Saturday.
The shotstopper enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career in the Eagles goal, keeping 13 clean sheets and conceding less goals than any other Championship keeper.
More than 900 people attended the Player of the Year dinner at Selhurst Park and it was their vote on the night that saw Speroni voted for ahead of Clinton Morrison, Matt Lawrence, James Scowcroft and Shaun Derry.
Sean Scannell enjoyed a double celebration as he was named the club's young player of the year and made his debut for the Republic of Ireland, coming on as a 74th minute substitute against Portuguese club Portimonese yesterday.
The training match was the Republic's first of their training camp in Portugal that will end with two friendles against Colombia and Serbia.
