A man has been taken to hospital after falling at a major road in Thornton Heath.
The incident happened in London Road at 10.10am today (November 10).
Officers attended and found a man with a head injury. He was taken to hospital following the incident.
The road was closed as the incident was dealt with but has since reopened, according to AA maps.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 10.10am on Thursday, 10 November to reports of a man with a head injury in London Road, Thornton Heath.
“Officers attended and provided first aid.
"It was established that the injury was as a result of a fall and the man was taken to hospital.
“There was no further police involvement.”
