A care home in Surbiton offering care for veterans and their partners will be welcoming them to their open days in February and March.
Royal Star & Garter in Upper Brighton Road will be welcoming residents to the care home on February 24 and March 24 between 2pm-4pm.
The charity provides care to veterans and their partners with disabilities or those who are living with dementia.
The open days are aimed at giving prospective residents a view into the homes and the services they provide with a tour of their facilities and an itinerary of activities including music, gardening, and cooking.
Visitors will be given a tour of the care home which hosts a hair salon and in house physiotherapy room as well as a garden and activity rooms.
Home Manager, Helena Maher said: “We appreciate that looking for a care home can be daunting, but we’re hoping a visit to Royal Star & Garter will help ease those concerns.
“We pride ourselves on being a loving family and providing exceptional care to veterans and their partners.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Home to meet our fantastic residents, see the amazing facilities and activities we have to offer, and to answer any questions they may have”.
