A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition following a stabbing on Elmwood Road in Croydon.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene at 4:13pm yesterday (March 20).
A man, who police believe to be 18, was taken to hospital with a stab injury.
Police say that he is in a “critical but stable” condition.
One man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and a crime scene currently remains in place in the area.

This stabbing comes as two youths, both believed in their teens, also suffered stab injuries and were taken to hospital at around 5.25pm after a fight in Church Street in Croydon.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 16:13hrs on Monday, 20 March to a report of a stabbing on Elmwood Road, Croydon
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
“A man, believed to be aged 18, was found with a stab injury.
“He was taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition.
“One man was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
“A crime scene remains in place.”
