Two men have been taken to hospital with injuries as an arrest has been made following a stabbing in Croydon.

Police were called to Papermill Close yesterday (March 27) at around 4.30pm after a male had been stabbed in the leg.

Another male was found with a head injury.

Both were taken to hospital; their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

One arrest has been made, and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by LAS at 16:30hrs to Papermill Close, Croydon, after a male suffered a stab injury to his leg.

“Another male was found with a head injury.

“Both were taken to hospital; their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

“One arrest has been made.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
