Police are searching for a man who is alleged to have spat at someone in a transphobic incident on a Croydon tram.
The incident took place at 11.15pm on Friday, March 3, on a tram travelling to East Croydon.
During the journey the man shouted transphobic abuse at the victim.
Then when the tram arrived at Church Street he spat at them, British Transport Police said.
Officers have released an image of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2300024905.
