A female pedestrian has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a crash with a lorry in Worcester Park.
Police were called to the scene at 3.10pm today (April 5) to Trent Way and closed the road after the incident.
London Air Ambulance also attended and the female was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
Police are awaiting an update on the pedestrian’s condition.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.10pm today (5 April) to reports of a road traffic collision on Trent Way, Worcester Park.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a medic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager.
"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Our first medics arrived in six minutes.
“We treated one patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
London Air Ambulance has been approached for further comment.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 3.10pm on Wednesday, 5 April to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian on Trent Way in Worcester Park.
“Officers and London's Air Ambulance attended.
“The female pedestrian has been taken to a south London hospital.
“We await an update on her condition.”
