A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Croydon.
The incident happened at the junction of Brighton Road and Purley Rise just before 5.45pm yesterday (April 27).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a motorcyclist injured.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital where their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 101 and quote reference CAD 5330/27Apr.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At around 5.45pm on Thursday, 27 April, officers were on patrol in Purley when they became aware of a collision involving a car and motorbike at the junction of Brighton Road and Purley Rise.
“They stopped to provide assistance and called for support from the London Ambulance Service.
“The motorcyclist was taken to hospital; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5330/27Apr.”
