A second teenager has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Croydon.

Lucas Sutton, 22, was found injured by emergency services in Pawsons Road at around 7.45pm on May 24.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Keahn Williams, of Waddon, Croydon, appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday (May 29).

The 19-year-old was charged with murder and with possession of an offensive weapon.

A 16-year-old boy appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on May 26 charged with murder.

Both males will next appear at the Old Bailey today (May 30).

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “A second teenager has been charged with the murder of Lucas Sutton who was fatally stabbed in Croydon on 23 May.

“He is Keahn Williams, 19, [B] of Waddon, Croydon.

“He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

“Williams appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 29 May, and was remanded in custody.

“Previously, a 16-year-old male [A] appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 26 May charged with the murder.

“Both males will next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 30 May.”
