Greene King has confirmed the temporary closure of the Albert Tavern pub due to management changes later on this month.
The Albert Tavern, on Harrington Road in South Norwood, is currently owned by Greene King and is part of its Hive Pubs brand.
Residents to the Norwood area have expressed concern over the Albert Tavern closing later on this month.
A spokesperson for Greene King confirmed that the pub would temporarily close from June 27, however they added that the closure was due to a change of management.
According to Greene King, the Albert Tavern is set to reopen to customers from June 30 with new management.
A spokesperson for Greene King said: “The pub will be temporarily closed from the 27 June due to a change of management, however it will reopen on the 30 June.
“The new management are looking forward to taking over the Albert Tavern and welcoming the community back into the pub.”
