A body has been found near the Wimbledon tennis courts, just over half a mile from the championship site.
The man was discovered at 9.25am in Southfields, South London.
The Metropolitan Police received a call about the incident and have since established a forensic scene at Chobham Gardens, SW19.
The death is currently being treated as unexpected and unexplained.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers were called at 9.25am on Monday, July 10 to Chobham Gardens, SW19.
"The body of a man was reported to have been found at the location.
"Officers have attended and a forensic scene is in place.
"The death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained."
