Police were given extra powers in Thornton Heath yesterday to evict people from an unauthorised encampment.
People were evicted from the unauthorised encampment yesterday (July 17).
Thornton Heath safer neighbourhood team executed a Section 60C of the Criminal Justice and Public Disorder Act 1994 in order to evict people who had set up an unauthorised encampment behind the Iceland on Brigstock Road.
