A man has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill after a concern for safety was reported in Epsom.
The incident occurred on August 2 at a home on Upper High Street at around 2pm, prompting a search of the premises by police.
Several weapons were seized during the operation.
A man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill at the home and he is currently in custody.
Police have reassured the community that there is no further risk and they are not seeking any other individuals in connection with the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell beat police said: "Following reports of a concern for safety yesterday (2 August), we are continuing to search a premises in Epsom and have seized a number of weapons.
"The call was reported just after 2pm in relation to an address in Upper High Street.
"A man was arrested at the address on suspicion of threats to kill. He is currently in custody.
"We appreciate that the police presence may have caused concern within the local community. We would like to reassure you that there is no risk to the wider community and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
"The investigation remains ongoing. "
