A popular brand created by famous YouTubers, The Sidemen, has opened in Croydon’s Boxpark.

The fried chicken brand Sides opening in Croydon marks the fourth of these restaurants opening in the UK, with other spots currently being at Wembley Box Park, Gravity Wandsworth and Market Place Harrow.

The Sidemen started as seven YouTubers, who joined forces as a group in 2013.

Since then, they have dominated the internet, creating an international audience of over 84.5 million dedicated YouTube subscribers to their channels, and a combined following of 36.4 million on Instagram.

They are made up of Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji (KSI), Harry Lewis (Wroetoshaw), Simon Minter (Miniminter), Vik Barn (Vikkstar123), Josh Bradley (Zerkaa), Ethan Payne (Behzinga) and Tobi Brown (TBJZL).

Besides the billions of views for their videos across their respective channels, the group are seven best friends who describe themselves as being on a mission to spread positivity and ultimately fun through groundbreaking content.

On the menu at the new location, there will be the latest SIDES offering including hot Nashville-style chicken, dipped in a paprika-spiced oil with five levels of spice to choose from.

A new side dish will also make its debut - crispy corn ribs, which will bring further diversity to the Sides menu.

Fans will also be able to experience fan favourites like Mac & Cheese bites, original or spicy Waffle fries and all Sides authentic sauces.

To heat up the tasty offering, there will also be a new spicy ketchup and a secret sauce.
