Four people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash.
Police were called to Wandsworth Road at 5.45am this morning (Sunday, August 20) following reports of a crash between four vehicles.
London Ambulance Service was also at the scene and four people were injured from the crash.
They were taken to hospital and their injuries have been assessed as not life threatening.
Traffic is currently being diverted from Wandsworth Road along Vauxhall Bridge.
Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if they can.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Wandsworth Road, SW8 at about 05:45hrs on Sunday 20 August following reports of a collision involving four vehicles.
“Officers attended alongside colleagues from London’s ambulance Service.
“Four people were injured as a result of the collision.
“They were taken to hospital, where their injuries have been assessed as not life threatening.
“Traffic is being diverted from Wandsworth Road along Vauxhall Bridge.
“Drivers are advised to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.”
