A man in his 30s is in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a stabbing in Croydon.
Today (September 29) at around 3:30am police were called to College Road in Croydon.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was found having been stabbed and was taken to hospital.
His injuries are believed not to be life-threatening, but potentially life-changing.
A crime scene is currently in place in the area affecting access into East Croydon station.
No arrests have currently been made and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at approximately 03:30hrs on Friday, 29 September to reports of a man suffering stab injuries in College Road, Croydon.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man, believed aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries have been described as not life threatening but potentially life changing.
“A crime scene remains in place at the location and includes part of the access to East Croydon station.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD822/29Sep.
“You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
