A man has been taken to hospital after a driver fled the scene of a crash in Croydon.
Emergency services were called to Selsdon Park Road at 5am this morning (Friday, September 29).
A man was found injured in the road following a crash with a car that had left the scene.
Road closures were in place this morning but have now been lifted.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 04:57hrs on Friday, 29 September to Selsdon Park Road after a man was found injured in the road.
“Officers responded with LAS.
“It was established he had been injured in a collision with a car which had then left the scene.
“The man was taken to hospital; his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
“Road closures have been lifted.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
