A man has been stabbed to death in Sutton.
Police were called to Typhoon Way just after 9pm last night (Monday) to an injured man.
The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene for a stab injury.
He died at the scene.
A crime scene remains in place at the location and no arrests have been made.
Urgent enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Sutton.
“Officers were called at approximately 9.01pm on Monday, 2 October to reports of a man suffering stab injuries in Typhoon Way.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man, believed aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he sadly died as a result of his injuries.
“A crime scene remains in place at the location and urgent enquiries are ongoing.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
