A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at a park in Croydon.
The incident happened at Lloyds Park at 1.05am today (October 3).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured.
He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquires continue.
This is the third stabbing in under a week in Croydon that Your Local Guardian is aware of and has reported on.
Elianne Andam, 15, was stabbed to death in Wellesley Road at 8.30am on September 27.
Police also attended another stabbing just five minutes from the scene of Elianne's murder where a man was taken to hospital after an attack in College Road on September 29.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 01:05hrs on Tuesday, 3 October to reports of a stabbing in Lloyds Park in Croydon.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a stab wound.
“His condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.
“Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 259/03Oct.
“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
