A four-roomed flat in a block of flats in Kingston was damaged following a fire.
Yesterday (October 6) at around 4:26am fire crews were called to the scene of a fire at a flat on St Peter’s Road in Kingston.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the fire with crews from Surbiton, New Malden, Kingston and Twickenham at the scene.
There were no reported injuries and fire crews had controlled the blaze by 5:07am.
London Fire Brigade has said that the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said; “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on St Peter’s Road in Kingston.
“A small part of a four-roomed flat on the first floor of a residential block was damaged by fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 0426 and the fire was under control by 0507.
“Fire crews from Surbiton, New Malden, Kingston and Twickenham fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
