A horror week across south London saw two people stabbed to death and one person shot dead.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest south London is aware of and has reported on.

The week beginning October 2 saw a string of attacks in Battersea, Croydon, Sutton and Brixton.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Man, 42, dies after stabbing in Sutton

A 42-year-old man died after a stabbing in Sutton.

Luke Blackmore was found injured in Typhoon Way just after 9pm on October 2.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

A 17-year-old was arrested on October 4 on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

A 44-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

She has been released on bail while investigations progress.

Boy, 17, taken to hospital after stabbing at park in Croydon

A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at a park in Croydon.

The incident happened at Lloyds Park at 1.05am on October 3.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquires continue.

Man, 22, dies after stabbing in Brixton

A 22-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Brixton.

Keelen Morris Wong was found injured in Coldharbour Lane at around 4.45pm on October 3.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

His next of kin have been informed.

A 23-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Man, 21, dies after shooting in Battersea

A 21-year-old man has died after a shooting in Battersea.

Rico Andrews was found injured in Shuttleworth Road at around 9.50pm on October 5.

He was pronounced dead shortly after.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.

His next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
