An e-fit image has been released following a sexual assault on Clapham Common of a man police wish to speak to.
At around 8pm on Monday, September 11 a woman in her 20s was reportedly sexually assaulted inside a public toilet on the common.
The suspect then went towards Cedars Road.
He is described as a man in his 20s of slim build and around 5ft10 with black hair and of Arabian appearance.
At the time of the alleged assault, he was wearing dark grey jeans with a dark-coloured t-shirt.
Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 2187/16Oct.
Information can also be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers investigating a sexual assault on Clapham Common are releasing an e-fit image of a man they would like to identify.
“At around 20:00hrs on Monday, 11 September a woman, aged in her 20s, was reportedly sexually assaulted inside a public toilet on the common.
“The suspect made off towards Cedars Road.
“He is described as a man aged in his 20s, of slim build, with black hair, around 5ft10, and of Arabian appearance.
“At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark grey jeans, with a dark coloured t-shirt.
“Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 2187/16Oct.
“Information can also be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
