A worker at a convenience store in Croydon has been fined £1,100 after he sold a vape to a teen.
Prasanth Kurup, 37, was found guilty of the offence at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on October 9.
The court heard he was working at P and N Convenience Store on Bensham Lane in Thornton Heath on February 15 when he sold a disposable vape to someone aged under 18.
Kurup, of Whitehorse Lane in Croydon, was not present at court when he was fined £1,100.
He was also ordered to pay £1,100 in costs and a £440 surcharge.
