A woman from Croydon will face a trial accused of running over and killing her elderly neighbour.
Elizabeth Avorga, 42, is charged with causing the death of 71-year-old Janet Emmett by careless driving.
The incident took place on June 14 last year on Kingsdown Avenue, the defendant and victim's road.
Avorga appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday for a hearing before Judge Rebecca Trowler.
The judge set a one-week trial from April 2 next year and a further hearing on January 5.
The defendant was not asked to enter a plea to the charge and was granted conditional bail.
