The pumpkins are being packed and the trees are being bought, which means it is nearly Christmas.
And Wallington is prepared to switch on the Christmas lights.
The Wallington Christmas Lights will light up the town on Friday, December 1, but there’s a whole Christmas fair before the lights officially turn on.
From 4pm, Orchard Hill College’s Christmas Shopping Event will kick off.
There will be gift stalls in Wallington Square, including make-your-own gifts.
From 5pm, Father Christmas will arrive at his Grotto.
Children will be able to tell him what they want for Christmas before the lights switch on.
From 5.30pm, various choirs will perform and sing Christmas Carols, bringing in that festive feeling.
The choirs will sing a range of Christmas songs from Carol of the Bells to We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
At 7pm, the Christmas lights will be switched on and The Wallington Christmas Light Switch On will go on until 8pm.
