Royal Mail has confirmed that there may be issues with certain deliveries to addresses in New Malden today.
Royal Mail is a business that provides postal and delivery services six days a week to homes across the United Kingdom.
In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
The Royal Mail website states that customers living in New Malden, with the postcode KT3 could be impacted by this today (October 29).
In these cases, Royal Mail rotates deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.
The British postal service is providing targeted support to the New Malden office to address their challenges and restore their service to the high standard.
Other areas of the UK which are impacted by current issues include:
Altrincham (WA13, WA14, WA15), Andover (SP9, SP10, SP11), Crieff (PH5, PH6, PH7), Deal (CT14), Dunstable (LU5, LU6), Sturminster Newton (DT10), West Kensington (W14), West Mersea (C05), Wrington (BS40).
