A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash in Mitcham.
Today (November 11) at around 11:15am emergency services were called to the scene of a crash in London Road in Mitcham.
A car had allegedly been involved in a crash with a pedestrian.
Ambulance crews treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital.
No arrests have been made and road closures are currently in place.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 11:15hrs to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in London Road, Mitcham.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital; we await an assessment of her condition.
“There have been no arrests.
“Road closures are in place.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called this morning at 11:12am to reports of a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a car on London Road, Mitcham, CR4 3LA.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital.”
