Police have made an arrest in Croydon after a man allegedly shouted racist and threatening abuse about Palestinian people.
Police were called to Dornton Road just before 1pm on November 18 after reports of the man’s abuse.
Officers responded and arrested a 55-year-old.
He was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson tweeted: “A 55-yr-old man has been arrested in Dornton Road, Croydon.
“We were called just before 1pm to reports of a man shouting racist and threatening abuse about Palestinian people.
“Officers responded and arrested him for a racially aggravated public order offence.”
