Wetherspoons has confirmed the closing date of its popular pub in Purley.
The Foxley Hatch was among four other Wetherspoons in south London which were put up for sale in September 2022.
These were the Wrong Un in Bexleyheath, the Asparagus in Battersea, the Bankers Draft in Eltham, and the Capitol in Forest Hill.
A spokesperson for Wetherspoons confirmed the Foxley Hatch will be permanently closing on December 3.
The chain made a commercial decision to sell the pubs which will continue to operate as Wetherspoons outlets until they are sold.
Senior director at CBRE, Toby Hall, said the pubs represent an "excellent" opportunity for existing pub operators.
He adds that there is a mix of locations in the portfolio which is rarely seen in the market.
The chain, founded by businessman Tim Martin, operates around 800 pubs around the UK and Ireland.
