A Croydon shoe store is giving away free shoes to its first 25 customers on its first Saturday.
Europe’s largest shoe retailer, Deichmann, will open its newly relocated store to the public at 50 North End on Thursday, November 30.
This follows a £750,000 investment into the 600m2 store.
This new location comes after the closure of another Deichmann which was based on 76 North End, according to Inside Croydon.
Customers can also expect significant in-store offers including 50 per cent off selected lines.
On Saturday, December 2, the store will celebrate its opening with a day of freebies, discounts and giveaways.
Alongside free shoes (up to £25 in value) for the first 25 customers, the range of opening day giveaways includes limited edition bags for the first 500 customers and a spin-the-wheel game with discounts.
The Croydon store's range of footwear caters to the whole family, featuring exclusive lines from adidas, Fila, Nike, Puma and Skechers.
Deichmann also offers a price promise, committing to match or beat the price of identical branded footwear found cheaper at any UK high street or online retailer.
The store’s own brand shoes start at just £5.99, offering real leather products from £29.99.
The retailer is widely recognised for its collaborations with designers and stars like Leni Klum, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.
Deichmann, a family-owned company based in Essen, Germany, has existed for over 110 years.
The brand has stores in 31 countries and in the UK alone, Deichmann operates over 130 stores, including prominent venues in Westfield London, Westfield Stratford, Birmingham, and Glasgow Argyle.
