A person has been taken to hospital after they were found covered in blood in their night clothes in Croydon.
Police were called to Parchmore Road at 1am yesterday morning (Tuesday, November 28) to reports of a person with a knife and apparent injuries.
The person was found and taken to hospital where their injuries and mental health concerns can be addressed.
Police are investigating the incident and its background and context.
Croydon MPS tweeted a statement from Inspector Chris Mackin.
He said: “We are aware of footage on Twitter showing a person with a knife in night clothes and covered in blood.
“Police attended Parchmore Road at approximately 1am on November 28, 2023 to reports of a person with a knife and apparent injuries.
“Police attended and found the person concerned and they were taken by ambulance to hospital for help with their injuries and possible mental health concerns.
“We are investigating the full background to the incident including the full context of interactions with others.”
