A man from Croydon has been charged with a “serious” sexual assault.

Raphael Pamah, 35, from New Addington, was charged after a woman sustained injuries after meeting up with the suspect after they spoke online.

She continues to be supported by specially trained officers, according to police.

Croydon MPS tweeted: “Raphael Pamah, 35, from Croydon, New Addington, has been arrested and charged with the serious sexual assault of a woman who also sustained injuries after meeting the suspect online.

“She continues to be supported by specially trained officers.”
