A 27-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Thornton Heath.
The incident happened in Mayfield Crescent just before 10.30pm yesterday (December 19).
Officers, London Ambulance Service crews and an air ambulance attended and found a man injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 22:31hrs on Tuesday, 19 December to Mayfield Crescent, Thornton Heath, following reports of a stabbing.
“Officers responded with London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service, and found a 27-year-old man with stab injuries.
“The injured man was treated at the scene but despite the efforts of emergency services to save him, he sadly died at the scene.
“At this early stage there have been no arrests.
“Police are working to establish the circumstances and need anyone who saw the incident, or has mobile or dash cam footage that could help, to call 101 or post @MetCC ref CAD 7509/19 Dec.
