A 21-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing in Sutton.
The incident is believed to have happened near Sutton Station earlier today (December 21).
Officers were called to a south London hospital at 8.25pm after the man admitted himself with stab injuries.
His condition is currently unknown.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 20:25hrs on Thursday, 21 December to a south London hospital after a male self-presented with stab injuries.
“Officers attended. The 21-year-old man continues to receive treatment; we await an update on his condition.
“At this early stage, it is believed that the victim was assaulted close to Sutton Railway Station.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 6870/21Dec.”
