Police have launched an investigation after a 16-year-old girl was followed and harassed by a man in a car in Ewell.

The incident happened on Tuesday, December 12 at 10am when she was walking on Poole Road.

The vehicle is described as a silver Nissan Qashqai.

Police are asking residents of Poole Road and Heatherside Road to check video doorbells or CCTV between 10am and 10.30am on that day, to see if the car can be seen on their footage.

A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell Police said: “We are investigating after a 16-year-old girl was followed and harassed by a man in a car whilst walking on Poole Road in Ewell.

“The incident took place on 12 December at around 10am and the vehicle is described as a Silver Nissan Qashqai.

“We are asking for any residents of Poole Road and Heatherside Road to check their video doorbells or CCTV between 10am and 10.30am of that day, to see if the vehicle can be seen on their footage.
