A maisonette flat has been damaged by a fire in Thornton Heath.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters responded to a fire at a two-storey maisonette on Osborne Road on Sunday (January 7).
Half of the first floor flat was damaged by the fire.
There has been no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire was an electrical fault.
The fire was under control by 12.42pm.
Firefighters from Woodside, Croydon, Norbury, and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a fire at a two storey maisonette on Osborne Road in Thornton Heath.
“Half of a first-floor flat was damaged by the fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The cause of the fire was an electrical fault.
“The Brigade was called at 1148 and the fire was under control by 1242.
“Firefighters from Woodside, Croydon, Norbury, and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.”
