A man has died after he collapsed on a street in south west London.
Police were called at 9.50pm last night (Saturday) to reports of a man collapsed on Shrubbery Road in Streatham.
Officers attended and the man – believed to be in his 70s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed.
At this time, the death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at approximately 21:50hrs on Saturday, 20 January to reports of a man collapsed in Shrubbery Road, SW16.
"Officers attended the scene.
"The man – believed aged in his 70s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed.
"At this time, the death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
