A person has died after an incident on a busy road in Wimbledon.
London Ambulance Service crews were called to the Broadway just after 12.45pm yesterday (February 4).
An incident response officer, two ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, and medics in two fast-response cars also attended.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown.
We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.46pm yesterday (Sunday, February 4) to reports of an incident on The Broadway, Wimbledon.
We sent a number of resources including an incident response officer, two ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic and medics in two fast response cars.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene."
