A new Primark is set to open in Epsom early next year, creating around 100 jobs for the local community.
Fashion giant Primark is poised to become the anchor tenant in the Ashley Centre, Epsom's top shopping hub.
The announcement from CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) coincides with a £7 million refurbishment of the centre set to complete in the coming weeks.
The fashion retailer will occupy the 44,000 square ft space, formerly filled by House of Fraser, and is expected to open in early 2025.
The store will stretch out over two floors and neighbour other popular retailers like JD.

Promising to provide a wide selection of products, the retailer will feature menswear, womenswear and childrenswear sections, as well as accessories, beauty, home, and lifestyle products.
Louisa Butters, Head of Retail Asset Management UK at CBRE IM, said: "Primark's signing is a milestone moment for the Ashley Centre.
"The opening will mark the final stage of our two-year repositioning project that underpins our long-term strategy for the revitalisation of the Ashley Centre, ensuring that it continues to serve the needs of the community in every way possible."
Philippa Nibbs, Director of Sales UK, London and the South East at Primark, also welcomed the development, saying: "As we continue to invest in the UK high street, we are delighted to announce our new store in Epsom that will open next year.
"We look forward to becoming a part of this community and playing a central role in the refurbished Ashley Centre."
The unveiling of the new Primark in Epsom coincides with the expected arrival of the store in other locations, such as Newbury and Berkshire.

This forms a part of Primark’s £100 million investment in its UK stores, as it marks 50 years of Primark on the High Street.
For those keen to visit Primark before the Epsom store's opening, existing branches are open for business in Sutton, Kingston and Woking.
In 2023, the Ashley Centre welcomed new retail outlets including JD, Deichmann, and GAIL’s Bakery, which are all seen as key aspects of the centre's strategy to evolve its retail and food and beverage offer.
The £7 million refurbishment will also contribute towards the enhancement of the shopping centre's look, through improvements to its East entrance and interior design.
