A gang of men wearing balaclavas forced their way into a home in Epsom before threatening the homeowners and stealing items.
The burglary occurred on February 19 at around 7.25pm when a group of men entered a home on Pine Hill with weapons.
They threatened the people inside before stealing items.
Officers say the suspects arrived and left the address in two black cars that were parked nearby.
They are described as men of white, black and Asian ethnicity, wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.
Surrey Police is now asking anyone with further information or CCTV footage to contact them quoting reference number PR/45240019731.
Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Shallcross, said: “We understand that this incident will cause alarm to residents, but we believe the address was targeted and there is no wider risk to those living in the area.
“We are doing all we can to catch those responsible and appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that might assist in our investigation.”
A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell Beat police said: “We are appealing for the public’s help following an aggravated burglary in Epsom on Monday, 19 February.
“At around 7.25pm a group of men, armed with weapons, forced their way into a home on Pine Hill.
“The homeowners were threatened before items were stolen.
“It is believed that the suspects arrived at and left the address in two black cars that parked up a short distance away.
“The suspects are described as male of white, black and Asian ethnicity, wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.
