A woman has been arrested following a multi-vehicle crash in Crystal Palace this morning.

Police were called just before 6.30am today (Wednesday) to a crash involving two cars.

The incident happened on Lawrie Park Road, at the junction with Kirkdale Corner.

The driver of one of the cars was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries – these are not thought to be life threatening.

She has also been arrested.

There has been no other reports of serious injuries and police continue to investigate the incident.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called at 06:27hrs on Wednesday, 28 February to a collision involving two cars in Lawrie Park Road, at the junction with Kirkdale Corner, SE26.

“The driver of one of the cars was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries – these are not thought to be life threatening. She has also been arrested.

“No other reports of serious injuries.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue. Anyone with information that could assist is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD984/28Feb.”
