Police have said that the death of a man in Streatham is not being treated as suspicious.
The incident happened in Babington Road shortly after 1pm on March 2.
Officers, paramedics and London Air Ambulance attended and found a man injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.
His family has been informed and police will now prepare a file for the coroner.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly after 13:00hrs on Saturday, 2 March to reports of a man found injured on Babington Road, SW16.
“Officers and London's Air Ambulance Service attended.
“Despite the efforts of medical staff, the man died at the scene. His family has been informed.
“The death is currently being treated as unexpected but is not being treated as suspicious.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called on Saturday 2 March at 1pm to reports of an incident in Babington Road, Streatham.
“We sent a number of resources including ambulance crews, advanced paramedics, operational managers and London’s air ambulance.
“Sadly, despite our efforts a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
